HERITAGE Built in 1886 and registered under the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, this magnificent 2-storey villa is one of Picton’s original colonial homesteads. Extensively and sympathetically restored, Sennen House has many fine historic features.

ENVIRONMENT Set in formal gardens beneath our Queen Elizabeth II National Trust protected native forest, native birds and birdsong abound. A percentage of each guest stay is put into the ongoing work of regenerating the original beech forest with its unique and rich habitat.

HOSTS Imogen is a qualified Landscape Architect and originates from the UK. She will happily share her knowledge of local history and activities, and passion for New Zealand, its native plants and environment. She invites you to join herself and her two children in their love of this very special place and its beautiful surroundings.
